this week and random recollection

So on Monday David gave me a wonderful day off. He cleaned the kitchen, cooked our meals and took care of Arora!! I read my book scrapbooked and just enjoyed being at home with my family. Arora wore a onesie that she gave David for Valentine's Day. It is the PoopSmith, from www.homestarrunner.com, My husbands favorite website. They were both happy she was big enough to wear it now.
I have been working on a project for my neighbor. I embroidered her an apron and now need to hem the edges but my sewing machine broke. I tried to take it to Idaho falls to have it looked at but the Pfaff sewing machine shop is closed. So now I don't know what to do. If any one has a machine I could borrow it would only take me an hour or so to finish.
I have been thinking about my mom this week, it is her birthday on Saturday. It is sad to me that I probably wont get to talk to her. I was glad she could meet Arora when we visited Oregon But I really don't know when we will see her again. She is so unstable, I wonder what I will tell Arora when she is older.
On a better note, I had a very nice chat with my step mom Linda this week. I am thankful that she came into my life when she did and help to raise me. She is a wonderful companion for my dad, and shows so much love to all her grand kids.






This picture is from about a year ago. I wanted to go on a fun date so my husband and I decided to go to the local thrift shop and buy "ice skater" outfits for us and our friends. We then wore them to the theater to watch "Blades of Glory"
When we got to the theater the movie was sold out so we bought tickets to the next showing and hung out in the book store for a hour. Boy did we get some funny looks.
