Ithought it was time to put something else on here besides Arora. Here we are making some chocolate banana walnut brownies. They are so good. I think David is funny, always posing for pictures. Doesn't he know how handsome he is when he just smiles? Arora was sure interested in that mixture. It took aver and hour to get her to sleep tonight, just crying and crying. I hope she can feel better soon, her little cry just breaks my heart.
I put Gas in the car today.....$53! wow! Any one have money saving ideas?

You know, I really never try to pose or make funny faces (my mother never believes that) but it always turns out looking that way!
This is why I am such a HUGE fan of candid pictures. I think I look much more handsome in them. Anytime somebody is taking pictures I try to ignore them, not because I don't like my picture taken, but because I wish they would just take it without me knowing about it. I'm so frustrated everytime I hear somebody say "OK, look at the camera!" Can't they see I was ignoring on purpose?!
Hey, you did an awesome job when you "modeled" for me that one time! Of course, I wasn't saying "Hey, look at the camera!"
Okay, money saving ideas...on gasoline? I always plan all my errands and trips so that I use the least amount of mileage as possible. That's probably common sense, though. Coupons, buying bulk, buying second-hand, wait till movies get to the dollar theatre, do-it-yourself, make from scratch, and doing without! Oh yeah, shorter showers, fewer loads of laundry, turn off appliances, um, what else?
Well Clint and I are riding our bikes now and only filling up the car once a month. I don't think that helps though. I know that the less you STOMP on the gas the more you can conserve, and when you are going down hills let the car coast instead.
We use cold water for our laundry as often as we can. Turn off unneeded lights, oh we saw on tv, unplug your appliances and electronic stuff that you are not using because it still uses electricity.
Those brownies were so good, I've been craving more ever since yesterday. :) Next time feel free to drop a couple off again!!
The best way to save money on gas is to live close enough to work, stores, etc so that you can walk or ride bikes to them. For us our garden also helps because it keeps me and the kids busier doing something fun at home and that way we're not driving to places to get out of the house.
As far as other stuff, it's also really helpful to have a specific goal that you're saving for...it helps with motivating you to forgo some of those "extras" that jump into your shopping cart.
