So happy

Arora slept through the night last night!! Although she had happy moments today(Like in this picture) I think she is feeling ill. She threw up once, had a very yucky nose and put herself to bed at 6pm. I hope she will be feeling better soon. My walking group had a treat day. After the walk we all brought the most divine desserts to the club house to share. David and I are probably going apartment shopping this week. There are so many cheaper places to live here in Rexburg. I really don't want to move but it would be good for our pocket book. We moved 4 times last year and I know we will be moving again. I wonder what is would be like to have a somewhat permanent home. David actually lived in the same house his whole life before going on a mission. We moved every few years and it was always hard to say goodbye to friends and such. My brother Josh's wife Ellie is due to have their third baby any day now. I wish I could be in Oregon to meet him. I remember when their first child was born. It was the first time I had seen a birthing first hand. It was so amazing and spiritual to witness a baby being born. Now Kaylee is 4 and just spelled her name for me on the phone. David and I stayed with Kaylee when their son Caleb was born in Feb '07. Going to see him in the hospital was what put David over the edge, the next week we decided to start our family.

Gee--I guess I hope Arora feels better soon, even though that may mean she'll be wakeful again at night? She's a funny baby - usually little ones are the other way around when they're sick!

Good luck on your apartment hunting! Moving isn't any fun, but this poor-college-student phase won't last forever.

Part of the reason we never moved when David was growing up was because I had moved so much as a kid. By the time I was 14 I had lived in 15 different homes! After I married Joe, we lived in four different homes until we moved to 916 Laurel Lane, and I haven't moved since.

Oh poor Arora..being sick = no fun. The Village is nice, and the ward is great, but it isss spendy. I've moved an average of every 6 months for the last 6 years...I used to love it, the change and all, but moving with Mady changed my perspective lol. Good luck with the hunt!

So glad she is sleeping well for you again! It's so hard to have a sick baby, you feel so helpless.

Yeah, I'm looking forward to a permanent house too. I'm happy that we're going on our last year here, but am already a little sad about leaving our garden next year...maybe even before it's really going.

I definitely support living in affordable places though...that bit can add up to a lot of savings...which will help you on your way to a permanent house.

You were there when Kaylee was born?? I am so jealous! Nobody even called me when she was born. I've never seen a birth firsthand. I guess I will soon when my baby is born!
