soup and service

In my cooking class a few weeks a go I learned how to make Carrot bisque. It is a really different mix of flavors and is so tasty. You can see this must be true because David doesn't really like vegetables or soup and he is chowing down.
I also have been making my french bread into bowls so we cut out the middle and serve the soup right in the bread bowl. It is YUM-O as Rachel Ray would say.
Last week our good friend had an emergency surgery. SO I thought we would make a pot of soup. David asked for more Carrot soups so we made that. It was nice taking it over to the family. Then the next day we wanted to have some new friens over for soup and bread after church. Well the wife was sick so we took it over to them. SO that pot of soup fed many people, some sick, some hurt and some happy. I love when I am able to use my talents to help someone. It make me personally feel so good about myself. I am grateful I have been taught to help those in need.

So...are you going to post the recipe or what!?!

(I'm sure it's wonderful...but I'm guessing David would scarf it down anyway. I tell Eric, that just because he loves most of the stuff I cook doesn't necessarily make me feel wonderful about my cooking because he's not a fussy eater. :)
