I love spring time, there is so much to do, so much that is alive and growing. We started some serious work on our garden today. We are expanding it to about twice it's size so we are tilling up the new area and getting it ready to plant. We have only planted radishes so far but hope to get much more i nthe ground over the next few days. David is doing great as an intern. Arora is growing and learning each day. I am enjoying the time of relaxation and trying to improve areas of my life too.
I am reading a great book. It is called "Atlas Shrug" by Ayn Rand. it was written in the 1950'3 but is it so spot on what is going on in our nation today. I am also making and strengthening friendships. My friend Anna and I will take our kids to the Portland Children's Museum on Monday. I may be going to the Zoo with my friend Ashley this week too. We learned that you can check out passes to a lot of attractions in the Portland area from the library. FOR FREE! Just the pass to the Children's Museum will save us $24. I am very excited.
I am also part of a baking group that meets every tuesday. So far we have met twice and have made, white bread and chocolate orange muffins. This week it is my turn to host it and will teach this great recipe for rolls.
We try to go to the park every day and Arora is becoming more and more confidant with running and climbing. She can go up and down stairs by herslf now. She is getting 2 more top teeth, and has been sleeping really well the past few nights.

Where are you making your garden? Will you be able to harvest before you move back to Rexburg? (Makes me think of the garden in "Little House on the Prairie" that they had to leave behind for the rabbits.) :)

What?? You can get passes at the library???! Um, fill me in on that one!

I wish we had a vegetable garden. Won't be happening this year, though...

I'm looking forward to learning the next bread recipe!
