love of literature + a great video

I love to read, I love to immerse myself in the story. Being in a new world or situation is valuable to me. I know as a child I was always reading. This helped me, in a way, to face hard situations and learn how to tackle them. One of the books that I have a great memory of reading is J.R.R. Tolkin's "The Hobbit". If you haven't read it you should! You can see an overview of the book in this video here.
Okay that video is very silly, and the more you watch it the funnier it gets. Go ahead and watch it again.
I actually read and deeply studied "The Hobbit", last year here at BYU-Idaho. The teacher showed us that video, I went home and showed David and now it is one of our favorite videos to get a good laugh.

When was this made? I felt like I was back in the 60s.

I think that star trek guy needed to stick to doing sci-fi. Very funny, we all loved seeing it.

Haha. I'm pretty sure this was before he got the job on Star Trek, Stephanie.
You're right though. This wasn't his best work.

Am I the only one who finds that video to be a little creepy?

Hey Holly, next time can you link to the post instead of the blog? I had to search around for the video because I read your post a few days late.
