I have been trying every day for a few days now to update my blog. I was able to get one post to go through, the cupcake one. I think it is because it is finals weekend and so our internet is really busy. But I thought I would try it post with out any pictures. Arora has been doing some really cute things I want to record.
*Arora has started to say her name, either rora, or just ra. I will say something like, should mommy put her coat on first or should Arora. She will almost always say mommy first, no, rora! It is a great way to have her do something she normally wouldn't really want to do.
*She has been really cuddly and giving every one and everything kisses all the time. At bed time or naps we have to give her a kiss, then her bear a kiss and her blanket a kiss.
*Also a bed time we normally sing a few songs, if she is really tired she will just ask for kisses, no song. Or if we start to sing a song she doesn't care for, like Christmas songs she doesn't know, she will start demanding her kiss to get us to stop singing.
*This morning Arora woke up too early so I put her in bed next to me hoping to get a few extra minutes rest. She played quietly for about 45 minutes! She was having a whole conversation/signing time practice. She would sign and say: Pillow, water, cracker. Then after that was boring she started to say Awake! Awake! Then it was time to get up.
* Arora loves to dance and loves circles, so she now dances in a circle, spinning round and round.
* Arora has also learned about opposite lately, she loves running fast and walking slow, saying on and off and taking something on and off over and over, up and down open and closed. She especially loves when she says open and close and Mommy and Daddy open their eyes or mouth to her commands.
* She was 4 eye teething coming in.
* At nap time today she lied down on her bed and said and signed "dream".
*She still wont really drink milk but learned from her cousins to put milk on her cereal. Now it is one of her favorite foods.
* She loves to sign and say "funny!" Even at stuff that is not funny, but she she says it so cute I have to laugh so then it is funny.
David and I will graduate this week! Then move to Oregon on Saturday. Move in on Sunday. David will start work on Monday morning. Anyone in Portland who is willing to help us on Sunday the 20th around 2pm we would really appreciate the help. We are so excited to move back so close to family and friends and are hoping to reconnect with many we have lost touch with while out of state.

Holly and David,
Michael will still be recovering from surgery, so it depends on if he is up to watching Maddy. I assume Mark will be helping with moving in too.
Anyway, I will be there if I can!

Congratulations on graduating! What a big accomplishment...especially with a little one. Hope all goes well with your move!
Thanks for preserving all these memories, Holly! But I would add just a couple more things about Arora.
*Yes she loves to kiss things. It is worth noting that the first thing she actually kissed (and not just received a kiss) was not Mommy or Daddy, but this big plastic King Kong figure that she LOVES!
*Arora's favorite music to dance to is techno, because of the music on Daddy's cell phone. (She really likes dancing to the ringtones.) She isn't crazy about singing along with songs though. When she visited her cousins and they all sang along with Taylor Swift, Arora was quite weirded out.
I'll still be in Utah Sunday afternoon, but since I'll have Arora with me, I think that counts as helping! So excited to have your family back in the Portland area. So proud of you and David for graduating!

Wish we could help you, but we will be in church. Glad you are moving back! Those are cute memories about Arora. So cute about the signing practice while you got some more rest!
Holly we have church from 2-5 on sunday. But, if you need any help before that or on Monday we would love to help you guys. I know the whole moving thing stinks! Give us a call or an email. Can't wait to see you guys.
